Chris Brown’s Instagram: Ready To Leave Philippines — ‘Please, Let Us Leave!’

Chris Brown takes to Instagram in a comedic display of desperation to leave the Philippines. He sends up a plea, as well as a back flip. Breezy is ready to go.

It seems that Chris won’t be making it to his July 25th show in Jakarta. He’s postponed it, due to other circumstances, unrelated to being held in the Philippines. Brown’s Twitter tells of the update as follows.

In an Instagram video, you can see Brown as he makes his case.

The artist was supposed to arrive for his Hong Kong show, after leaving Manila. However, as you can see, this is not the case, and he’s still waiting to leave. Tomorrow, according to scheduling charts via Songkick, Chris Brown is supposed to perform in Macau, China — as well as Rishon LeZion, Israel on July 27th.

If you don’t know why Breezy’s being detained, it’s because of a fraud allegation from Iglesia ni Christo (Church of Christ).

According to NBC News, the organization claims to had paid Chris $1 million to perform in one of its arenas last year, for New Year’s Eve. However, though paid in full, Brown was a no-show.

Associated Press covered the Chris Brown issue as follows.

“The dispute traces back to last New Year’s Eve when Brown canceled a concert at the 55,000-seat Philippine Arena north of Manila, which is operated by a corporation owned by the politically influential Iglesia ni Cristo religious group…The organizers said they were told at that time by Brown’s representative that the singer lost his passport and could not make it to the concert.

In a complaint, the Maligaya Development Corp. says Brown and his Canadian promoter, John Michael Pio Roda, backed out of the concert after they were paid in full for a $1 million contract. MDC promoted the concert and sold tickets based on the guarantee that Brown would perform, the complaint alleged.

The religious group filed a formal complaint with a prosecutor at the Department of Justice, a preliminary step before the filing of charges in court.”

A spokeswoman for the Immigration bureau in Manila, Philippines — Elaine Tan — mentioned that, by the time Breezy was attempting to leave, he hadn’t yet applied for the clearance he needs to depart the country — of course, to add “insult to injury.” Part of his detainment is due to negotiations between the country’s Immigration bureau and the U.S. Department of Justice, as reports NBC News.

Even after performing to an enormous crowd on Tuesday night, Brown still awaits his departure. However, according to a previous Inquisitr article, things have been worked out. And Chris is supposed to be leaving today.
