‘RHOC’ Couple: Shannon Beador Claims There Are Days She Doesn’t Think Of David’s Affair At All

RHOC couple Shannon and David Beador exposed their marital troubles on the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and as the season continues, fans are seeing more and more of the difficulties of their marriage.

During the latest episode of the show, Beador was seen claiming her weight gain likely played a part in her husband’s decision to have an affair, and proceeded to engage in a number of grueling exercises at her local gym.

In a July 21 interview with People Magazine, Beador discussed her post-affair weight struggle, and revealed how much she thinks about her husband’s affair over a year after it took place.

“I gained the weight after I found out about the affair, but I think in a wacky way, subconsciously, when I looked at myself in the mirror and I saw that I kind of let myself go a bit, I thought, ‘Well, this is why,’ even though it all happened after.”

Although the RHOC couple went through hard times on the show, and at one point, Beador admitted to thinking about the affair all day long, she now thinks about David’s infidelity much less.

“I can go days, a week, without thinking about it. The thing is, if I were to think about the affair when we first started filming I’d be upset for a while. Now it’s just a, ‘yeah,’ and then you move on.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the RHOC couple’s marriage was on the rocks when they first began filming The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10, and understandably so. However, now that they’ve had time to work on their marriage, they are in a better place, which can make it difficult to relive the episodes as they air. In a June blog entry, Beador opened up about the difficulties involved in watching her and David’s hardest moments on the show.

“It is very difficult to relive everything as we watch the show, but I am truly committed to do everything it takes to move forward. I am not going to take two years. It is my hope that someday the memories of this period evoke zero emotion from me. I absolutely forgive David because he has shown true remorse and regret.”
