Ervans Saintclair: HIV-Positive Former Police Officer Arrested, Accused Of Having Unprotected Sex With 6 Women

A former Florida police officer’s heightened promiscuity has landed him behind bars, but the problem is reportedly much bigger than the number of hearts he’s broken. Apparently, he had a very big secret that he opted not to disclose before having sex with numerous women. Now, they all want him to suffer the consequences of his actions, because his dishonesty could potentially affect everyone involved.

According to the Sun Sentinel, Ervans Saintclair has been accused of having unprotected sex with approximately six women without disclosing his HIV-positive status. On Monday, July 13, the former Greenacres police officer was taken into custody after three women came forward with allegations regarding his actions. However, these three women actually aren’t the first to come forward.

It has been reported that the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office initially began investigating Saintclair back in January of 2014, when three other victims came forward with the same claim. The allegations echoed the sentiments of the latest victims, who also stated that Saintclair never disclosed his status. Due to his arrest last year and the pending investigation, he was placed on leave by the Greenacres Police Department.

During that investigation, one of the unnamed victims — who happens to be the mother of two of his children — stated that he exposed her to HIV. Although she reportedly made several attempts to expose him to a number of women, he assured them that he was “good” and insisted that his scorned ex was “just bitter,” reports Opposing Views.

Now, one of the latest victims revealed she’d had sex with Saintclair on multiple occasions, but he never revealed he’d been diagnosed with HIV. She confronted him after being contacted by another woman he’d been sexually involved with. Although he initially lied yet again, he eventually told her the truth, but insisted he’d just recently learned of his condition. However, according to medical records, the 38-year-old was actually made aware of his HIV-positive status when he was diagnosed in 2007.

All of the women have reportedly agreed that Saintclair blatantly dismissed all of their questions and concerns about unprotected sex and the possibility sexually transmitted diseases prior to having sex with them. The investigation led to Saintclair’s termination from the police department last summer. He now faces six counts of uninformed HIV-infected sexual intercourse, and is being held in the Palm Beach County jail on a $15,000 bond.
