Carlton Dance Flash Mob: Alfonso Ribeiro Leads Crowd With Classic ‘Fresh Prince’ Dance Moves [Video]

Can you do the Carlton Dance? What if you got a little help from “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” actor Alfonso Ribeiro?

Alfonso, who played Carlton Banks on the 90s sitcom, brought his dance moves (and his boom box) to the Universal Studios City Walk in Hollywood this weekend. Alfonso was joined by hundreds of people doing the Carlton Dance.

According to TMZ, Ribeiro was trying to break a world record with his dancing flash mob. TMZ reports that the group was trying to break the record for the most people flash mobbing at the same time in North America.

It’s unclear if Carlton Dance flash mob broke the record.

The Washington Post reports that the flash mob was organized by fitness company ViSalus to promote the Body by Vi Challenge. Similar flash mobs were held simultaneously in “hundreds” of other cities. But only L.A. had Carlton Banks.

Alfonso Ribeiro took a break from acting in 2005 but returned to the small screen in 2011 with parts in “Are We There Yet” and “Things We Do For Love.”
