Candis Cayne, Caitlyn Jenner Dating Rumors: Here’s What You Need To Know [Video]

Rumors are flying about whether Caitlyn Jenner has found love – with Candis Cayne, a transgender actress. The gossip mill was sent flying after Caitlyn and Candis were seen sharing a romantic dinner together – after visiting a spa and a Broadway show together, reports Yahoo! News. Are they dating?

Jenner is rumored to have started dating Candis Cayne after the pair met at a gay pride event in New York City. Caitlyn attended the event not just to celebrate the landmark decision by the United States Supreme Court to legalize same sex marriage, but also specifically to see Candis Cayne perform – and Cayne even dedicated her signature performance of “I’m Every Woman” to Jenner, “telling the audience that she was honoured to know the wonderful woman herself” reports Yahoo! News.

“I’m not trying to be a spokeswoman for the transgender community; I just want to be looked at as a living, breathing, happy human being,” Candis Cayne has said, according to Hollywood Life.

Although the pair are said to be dating, they didn’t just meet for the first time at the gay pride event – Candis Cayne and the Jenner clan were seen together at an Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and World AIDS Day at The Abbey in December 2014, reports Hollywood Life.

According to Yahoo! News, a source close to Caitlyn confirmed the pair are dating, and revealed information to Star magazine.

“Caitlyn and Candis had amazing chemistry. After her monumental life change, Caitlyn’s ready to open up her heart again and really, how could you ask for a more perfect fit as a romantic partner than Candis? She’s been basically through the same struggles and confusion, so she’d be the perfect person for Caitlyn to lean on as she continues her journey of transition. Candis is smart, funny, talented and drop-dead sexy. I wouldn’t blame Caitlyn one bit if she fell for her.”

However, the celebrity watch dog group, Gossip Cop has stepped in to squelch rumors that Caitlyn Jenner and Candis Cayne are dating. According to Gossip Cop, Star magazine came out with the rumor to spike sales, and a “legitimate” source toldGossip Cop that any news that Jenner and Cayne are dating is “wishful thinking on [Star‘s] part.”

“Basically, Star saw photos of Jenner and Cayne at a New York Pride event last month, and took note of the pictures they each posted on Twitter from subsequent outings. The tabloid then saw fit to build a [dating] story around the snapshots, simply because they happen to be two transgender women spending time together,” explains Gossip Cop.

Although it’s not confirmed, one thing is certain – Candis Cayne and Caitlyn Jenner would make a beautiful couple.
