Prince George Channels A Young Prince William At Princess Charlotte’s Christening, But Who Wore It Best?
Prince George looked stinkin’ cute on Sunday in a mini-me outfit that looked like a near replica of a little red and white shorts ensemble Prince William wore when he was a lad for his sister Princess Charlotte’s christening at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.
While the details in the stitching of the red and white shirt are not identical, it’s close enough to give pause to those who watched Prince William grow up before the world’s eyes and become a father to his own little Princess Charlotte and Prince George.

The outfit Prince George wore for his sister’s christening resembled an outfit worn by Prince William the day he met his brother, Prince Harry, for the first time back in September 1984.
The more modern shorts and shirt combo worn by Prince George is a smocked set by Rachel Riley, one of mom Kate Middleton’s favorite designers and can be purchased online for $135, according to People magazine.
Riley reportedly created the blue outfit Prince George wore in the official portraits Middleton took of him and his sister last month.

The 2-year-old Prince George has been channeling his dad quite a lot recently and the side-by-side pictures have been adorable. It’s remarkable to see the resemblance between Prince George and the future king of England at the same age.
Needless to say, little Prince George totally stole the show at his sister’s christening and the photos are proof enough.

Not to be outdone, Princess Charlotte and her mother Kate Middleton looked picture perfect for the family’s special day. The little princess wore the same historic ivory christening gown that Price George wore for his, according to Us Weekly.

Eight generations of royalty have worn a version of the christening gown. The gown sported by Princess Charlotte on Sunday was a replica of the beautiful garment worn by Queen Victoria’s firstborn, Victoria, Princess Royal, in 1841. Since then, and until 2004, all royal babies were baptized in the same outfit, including the Queen, Prince Charles, Princess Charlotte’s dad Prince William, and her uncle, Prince Harry.
