Tamra Barney Talks Ex-Husband: ‘The Pain Has Changed Each One Of My Kids’

Tamra Barney may be on The Real Housewives of Orange County, which is one of the most successful and popular reality series on television, but that doesn’t mean that fans know everything about her. In fact, Barney could only show a fraction of her life last year, as her ex-husband put her through the ringer. On this new season, Tamra keeps referring to her tough year last year, so Barney wanted to set the record straight.

In fact, when Tamra Barney talks about the pain from last year, it has nothing to do with the dramatic Bali trip that fans of the show saw. It was raw and painful, but it was nothing compared to what Tamra would see once she got back home. As Barney explains, she wants to share her story with the fans, so they know a bit of the context when she refers to the previous season.

According to a new Bravo report, Tamra Barney is now opening up about the pain Simon Barney put her through and adds that her children’s lives are forever changed.

“The last year had been a long painful journey for me and coming back to the show and filming scared me. I really did feel like I had been hit by a truck and I was learning to function again. What most people didn’t know I was going through some really painful issues while filming (last year) and I was not allowed to talk about them on camera for legal reasons. My ex-husband put me and the children thorough a painful custody battle that lasted a year,” Tamra Barney reveals, sharing some hurtful memories.

There were plenty of stories in the press about Tamra legal troubles, including that Simon was calling her an unfit mother, that she was a monster mom, a child abuser and there were rumors that Eddie Judge was leaving her. A report even surfaced that Barney was being booted from The Real Housewives of Orange Countybecause of her legal troubles.

“A year of court dates, attorney fees, sleepless nights, scared children, therapy appointments, false media stories, lies, embarrassment, but most of all the worst pain I had ever felt. These are memories that me and my children will never forget. This is pain that has changed each one of my kids in different ways. My two youngest kids are closer to me than ever. My oldest daughter has chosen to go live with her dad and every day without her is painful for me,” Tamra added.

But Tamra appears to be doing well these days. According to the Inquisitr, Tamra recently spent some time in Greece on her honeymoon with Eddie. It sounds like the pieces are slowly starting to fit again.
