Selena Gomez Swoons Over Friendship With Jennifer Aniston
While Selena Gomez’s fascination with Friends alum Jennifer Aniston may have once been a case of some one-sided fangirling, Ms. Gomez reveals that she has become fast friends with Aniston.
“She’s amazing,” Gomez responded, when asked to describe her newest BFF.
As the interview delved deeper into Selena’s relationship with Aniston, Gomez revealed that she has visited her idol’s home many times. It seems that Ms. Gomez and Jennifer have spent the occasional night bonding over snacks and beauty tips, much like a scene from Aniston’s former Friends series.
“Yeah… we met through my management — they manage her as well — so it was kind of like a friendly meeting and instantly she’s, like, inviting me to her house,” Gomez revealed. “She has a pizza oven. Like, we’ve made pizzas at her house. She’s very cool and very sweet. She kind of gives me a lot of, like, maternal advice.”
That first meeting to which Selena alludes took place during a Los Angeles party. Ms. Gomez came away from the encounter so blissfully happy that she couldn’t wait to share her first meeting with Aniston. The picture Selena shared on Instagram was accompanied with a caption that only began to capture Ms. Gomez’s elation.
“I have not only been following her career as a fan since I was 8 and now get to watch her completely transform in her new movie CAKE, I have gotten to have real conversations with such a real heart, made my entire year.”

Long before that meeting, Selena Gomez revealed running into Jennifer Aniston in a less social encounter. That first incident took Selena by surprise, leaving her feeling terrified and at a loss for words upon recognizing Ms. Aniston.
I ran into Jennifer in the bathroom and she goes, ‘Hi!’ My legs started to shake and I ran,” she said in an interview, shortly following that run-in. “I didn’t know what to do because I freaked out.”
Selena also revealed that she’s not shy about getting personal with people she admires. On a recent trip, Gomez met up with Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis, Paul Rudd, and Johnny Knoxville and she confesses that she was very eager to set up another meeting with the group.
“I just spent the weekend in Kansas with Paul Rudd, Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis, and Johnny Knoxville,” Selena said. “I was like guys lets talk about some dates! That’s kinda my approach. When I meet cool people like them I want what they have.”
