WWE News: WWE To Make Storyline Out Of Brock Lesnar Legitimately Hurting Jamie Noble?
We all know Brock Lesnar is a legitimate beast. The man is legendary for his ability to make stuff look real — because often times, it is. He is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and that MMA experience is often times a problem when he works with people. He is a stiff worker, which makes his matches fun to see. However, he normally does not work with very small people.
Last night, Authority member Jamie Noble was legitimately hurt by Brock Lesnar in the main event segment on WWE RAW. During an Authority beatdown, Lesnar rammed Noble into the barrier. This is done all the time in WWE; Lesnar alone has done this more than once. However, remember that Lesnar is a stiff worker and does not normally work with small guys. Once Brock Lesnar took down Noble, the remaining Authority members in Joey Mercury, Kane, and Seth Rollins gained up on him.
Meanwhile, Noble was hurt on the outside. According to Daily Wrestling News, fans in attendance claim that more than one official put up the “X” sign, which is a well known symbol for medical treatment being needed. A lot of chaos was going on that didn’t make air. There was genuine concern for Noble’s health. He was sent to a local hospital, where he got treatment for his injuries.
Noble mentioned on Twitter that he couldn’t breathe well right off, but he was okay. He does have three broken ribs, however. This is the power of Lesnar, people.
At the end of the day, this is WWE we are talking about. While we could say that Noble’s injury is legitimate or part of a storyline, WWE wants you to believe everything is part of the show as much as possible. A rumor going around is that since Lesnar already took out Noble, he very well could end up doing the same to the rest of The Authority as WWE heads into WWE Battleground in a few weeks. It would simply flow in as part of the storyline.
Noble is legitimately hurt, but guys in his position do not have to do a ton. So, he could work with broken ribs. However, the story would work out better if Seth Rollins had to take on Brock Lesnar alone. Most want Battleground to be Rollins’ reckoning. The only way it can be is if Lesnar has a one on one fight against Rollins. If he gets help, no one knows how it could turn out. People want to see Rollins get destroyed by Lesnar, so something has to happen in order for him to get a legitimate opportunity to do so.
It would make sense if WWE did a storyline around Brock Lesnar taking out Authority members. This may or may not have been a plan for WWE to do before. Now, however, it makes total sense for them to do it. Some things just work out too well for WWE to pass up.
