CMT Music Awards 2015 With Host Erin Andrews, Performances: Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Luke Bryan Live Tonight From Nashville


The 2015 CMT Music Awards will air live tonight on the CMT channel, with Erin Andrews and Brittany Snow hosting. The country music show is taking place at the Bridgestone Arena off of Lower Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. The CMT Music Awards is sure to remind viewers of the most prolific songs of the entire year. There will be a fun opening performance, followed by some surprising cameos, and a skit or two might also be on the slate.

The CMT Music Awards has been recognizing and bringing you the best in country music since 2002. The 2015 categories include: Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, Duo Video of the Year, Group Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, Breakthrough Video of the Year, and CMT Performance of the Year.

Nominations for Video of the Year are: Carrie Underwood’s Something in the Water, Darius Ruckier’s Homegrown Honey, Florida Georgia Line’s Dirt, and Lady Antebellum’s Bartender—just to name a few.

Tickets for the 2015 CMT Awards went on sale on May 16. People who are attending the 2015 CMT Music Awards say the atmosphere there is laid back. Jake Owens says that he is excited to be there and is impressed with some of the celebs who have shown up. Luke Bryant says he loves events like this because it gives him a chance to thank his fans who have been so loyal to him over the years.

Tonight’s show will be brimming with all kinds of sound effects and special effects that will add to the flavor and excitement of the show.

The Bridgestone Arena, where the CMT Awards is taking place, has been in operation in Nashville since 2006. It was formerly known as the Gaylord Entertainment Center, and later the Sommet Center. With a large seating capacity, the Bridgestone Arena has serviced events such as the WWE Night of Champions 2014, Grammy Nominations Concert Live, the CMA Awards, and various concert tours, including Shania Twain and Van Halen.

Old time country music fans are in for a special treat this year. The legendary Reba McEntire is set to take the stage with a live performance for the first time in 10 years, according to Fox News. And judging by CMT Channel’s Facebook page, everyone is looking forward to tonight’s how.
