Girl’s Got Moves! Check Out This Sassy 6-Year-Old At Her Dance Recital [Video]

A 6-year-old dance student took the stage at her studio’s annual recital, and showed off all of her moves! According to ABC News, the little girl you see in the video above is Johanna Colon from North Carolina. Her mom decided to post the video online after the recital, and it quickly went viral. As you can see, Johanna had plenty of sass for the song, “Respect,” by Aretha Franklin.

“She completely stole the show,” said Johanna’s mom, Elissa. She explained that Johanna spends a lot of time visiting her brother in the hospital. He suffers from Hirschsprung’s disease.

“Dance is where she gets to let loose and enjoy herself,” she said.

According to Today, the video has been viewed over 20 million times on Facebook. Johanna has been taking dance lessons at Heather’s Dance Inc. since she was 2-years-old. Her performance this year, however, was quite the routine. Naturally, she got a standing ovation when her number was over.

The young dancer seemed to have a great time on that stage. Aside from having a great personality, Johanna also knew all of the steps, and did a fantastic job overall.
