Sprint Announces Pre-Orders For LG Viper 4G LTE


The eco-friendly LG Viper 4G LTE is coming to Spring and in preparation for the $99 smartphone Sprint Wireless announced pre-order details on Tuesday. According to the company customers will begin on April 12 at sprint.com/viper.

Customers will be able to pick up the device later this month at various locations including Best Buy and RadioShack stores along with Sprint.com and 1-800-SPRINT1.

The LG Viper 4G LTE will come with a $149.99 initial price tag with a $50 mail-in-rebate..

The smartphones small price tag doesn’t interfere with major features including Google Android 2.3, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The device also offers 32GB on-board memory alongside a microSD card slot and a 5MP rear-facing camera with flash and VGA front-facing camera.

The LG Viper is also Near Field Communication (NFC) enabled, allowing it to access Google Wallet for mobile payment at various retailers including Gap, Macy’s, CVS and other national retailers.

For visual buyers you’ll receive a 4? display that comes equipped with a Corning® Gorilla® Glass screen protector.

Speaking about the new smartphone David Owens, vice president-Product Development at Sprint noted:

LG in the meantime continues to push itself further into the realm of Google Android.
