Tracy Morgan’s Daughter Afraid Of Daddy After Crash Injury

Tracy Morgan’s daughter was afraid of her comedian daddy after a crash which had killed Morgan’s friend and fellow comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair. The fateful crash happened when a Walmart truck backed into the limousine the two comedians were riding in on their way back from a show. Two others in the limo were also severely injured.

The comedian revealed that, even though currently wheelchair bound, he still wants to walk down the aisle with his fiance Megan Wollover, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. He knows it will take baby steps to recover from the accident which left him with a broken leg, several broken ribs, and brain trauma.

The corporate giant admitted fault after Tracy Morgan filed a lawsuit against them, and as the Examiner claims, Walmart did right by him. However, he’s still dealing with wheelchair problems, including having arrived home in one when young Maven was just a baby.

Comedian Tracy Morgan’s daughter was afraid of him and refused to come to him, and he took it personally. Morgan has a strong support system though, he explained.

“[They] guided me and said, ‘No, she’s a baby and she’ll come around.’ She was young. I was in a wheelchair every day. [But] my fiance and my son, they wouldn’t let me just lie down.”

Now at nearly a year old, the comedian’s daughter seems to have come around, surprising everyone with her first word, “Dada.”

After Tracy Morgan’s daughter was afraid of him, little Maven let her father know that she loves him with a single word. This was one of many milestones that Morgan says he’s looking forward to as he heals, and hopes to get back on his feet and behind a microphone.

“I can’t believe I’m here and the tragedy that happened. I have my good days and my bad days, where I forget things. There are times where I get the headaches, and the nose bleeds. I won’t even let my lady know because I don’t want her to be worried about it.

“I love comedy and I can’t wait to get back to her, but right now my goal is just to heal and get better because I’m not 100% yet, and when I’m there, you will know. I’ll get back to making you laugh, I promise.”

In spite of Tracy Morgan’s daughter being afraid of him at first, the comedian is determined to get back to where he was, and finally tie the proverbial knot with Megan Wollover.
