Free Donuts Friday 2015: Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’ Donuts Celebrate National Donuts Day – With A Catch!

In 2015, Free Donuts Friday has Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’ Donuts and more lining up to give us free food on National Donuts Day 2015, but unfortunately at least one of these companies has a loop-hole in their free donuts deal.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, National Burger Day 2015 is asking people to celebrate with some fairly weird combinations.

Unfortunately, Dunkin’ Donuts’ free donuts Friday would have Homer Simpson emphatically yelling, “Doh!” While some competitors limit your options to the basic donuts, Dunkin’ Donuts will in fact give you free donuts for all of their 70 options. The catch is that you have to buy a drink to go along with your “free” donuts, so the really cheap deal hunters will probably want to avoid them for this Free Donuts Friday celebration.

Krispy Kreme’s free donuts Friday also lets you go all Homer Simpson on all the different types of free donuts (well, except for being limited to one per person). Their donuts deal does not require any purchase, but only if you happen to live in a location within the United States or Canada where Krispy Kreme is participating. In this case, the catch is that, Puerto Rico is out in the cold instead of the usual Caribbean sun, and the whole state of Connecticut is feeling that chill (fancy way of saying, “No free donuts for you, Connecticut!”).

Shipley Do-Nuts is also celebrating National Donuts Day 2015, but for only part of the day. Their Free Donuts Friday is limited to 5 a.m. to noon, although you do get one free glazed donut with no purchase necessary.

Entenmann’s is limiting their Free Donuts Friday to the first 40,000 at New York City’s Madison Square Park starting at 7 a.m. EST, but the are also handing out a free cup of java.

New England can celebrate Free Donuts Friday 2015 at Honey Dew Donuts with a free Mocha Madness donut, but only with the purchase of a medium drink.

LaMar’s Donuts’ free donuts Friday is giving away donuts with no purchase necessary all day long, but the caveat is that the free donut must have “a hole.” Doh! No, free cream-filled donuts for you!

Lastly, Cumberland Farms is celebrating Free Donuts Friday 2015 with one free doughnut with the purchase of a hot or iced coffee or Chill Zone beverage from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. EST… but only at any newly remodeled store!
