Chad Michael Murray will get to celebrate his first Father’s Day this year!
The One Tree Hill star welcomed his first child , a baby boy, with his wife, Sarah Roemer, over the weekend, according to E! News .
After Murray missed Sunday’s 29th Annual Jim Kelly Celebrity Classic VIP Gala, his fans started getting concerned. However, the Chosen star soon put their worries to ease when he tweeted that his wife had given birth to his son.
“Sry I’m missin @JimKellyInc charity this year in Buffalo. My fav event 2 attend, but we’ve been blessed with a son. Gods greatest gift,” he tweeted . “Sarah & I couldn’t b happier & intend 2 spend many a day having family adventures & watching @buffalobills football! & also @Chargers now.”

Aaron Williams, the Buffalo Bills’ defensive back, later tweeted a message to Murray, congratulating him on his newest addition to the family.
“Congrats to my buddy @ChadMMurray on having his new born son. Can’t wait to meet him and see him go crazy at the Ralph one day,” Willaims tweeted on Sunday.

Murray and Roemer met last year while filming Chosen . In January, 2015, they announced that they had secretly married and were expecting their first.
“Chad and Sarah are extremely happy and excited, and enjoying their life together,” Murray’s rep told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “We please ask that their privacy be respected at this special and personal time.”
Murray spoke last month to Bello Magazine about his excitement to become a father.
“It’s the greatest thing in the whole world. I’m going to sit back and enjoy this new chapter,” he told the magazine for the May, 2015, issue.
