WWE News: Kevin Owens To Take On Dean Ambrose Soon? – Angle Possibly Happening At ‘WWE Elimination Chamber 2015?’

WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 is setting up to become an entertaining pay-per-view despite the fact it only has two weeks of planning to work on. Prior to its airing on, the Inquisitr reported on the latest news, rumors, and speculations leading up to WWE Elimination Chamber 2015, such as the potential surprise return of Brock Lesnar. There is also a rumor that Samoa Joe will make his WWE debut at the pay-per-view, though it is mere speculation.

Now a peculiar situation has happened that has caused another speculation to arise. Will the current NXT heavyweight champion, Kevin Owens, and Dean Ambrose be involved in an angle soon? If so, could something possibly happen to them at WWE Elimination Chamber 2015?

It should be noted that this isn’t just any loaded question. There is a reason, albeit a story foreshadow, to cause such chatter. On the May 28, 2015 taped airing of WWE Smackdown!, Kevin Owens cut a promo on John Cena and what he’ll do to him at WWE Elimination Chamber 2015. It was packed with a lot of great “rated PG” insults that actually went over well.

“I know the resume, I’m well-aware of the numbers. John Cena: fifteen world championships, two Royal Rumble match victories, eleven Wrestlemanias, fifty-seven varieties of terrible t-shirt designs, and over one thousand different ways to suck!”

Now here is where that story foreshadow comes in. After Kevin Owens finishes his promo and walks up the ramp to head backstage, Dean Ambrose’s music plays. Owens, who is visibly stunned by the interruption, looks up and sees Dean Ambrose just walk by him. The camera then pans to Owens looking back at Ambrose with an expressionless face that probably showed more expression than if he were to express anything.

Nevertheless, the above exchange seems to be more foreshadowing for an upcoming angle between Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose, but when it will happen is up in the air. Some people do argue that wrestlers pass each other all the time on the ramp in between matches. What stands out is the fact the cameras seemed to take importance in recording this momentary exchange. Let’s just say if the moment were written out sensationally, as in fiction writing, it would be a thing.

However, Bleacher Report believes nothing will happen right after Kevin Owens and John Cena’s match at WWE Elimination Chamber 2015. They feel as if Owens being at the pay-per-view is a means to promote not just the WWE Network, but NXT. Another glaring fact that supports their case is that the pay-per-view is just one day prior to a new subscription month. With that in mind, Kevin Owens might not do anything to Dean Ambrose at the pay-per-view event, but that doesn’t mean it is a setup for a future story between the two.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 will air on the WWE Network on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST.
