‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ Single Player DLC ‘Jaws of Hakkon’ Now Available On Playstation 4, Last-Gen Consoles

“Jaws of Hakkon” is now available on Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. The single player, story-based DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition has been out for over a month on Xbox One and PC due to exclusivity deal, but the content is finally up for players on Playstation 4 and last-generation consoles. BioWare, the game’s developer, announced the release today on the franchise’s official Twitter account.

The new Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC takes the inquisitor and companions on a journey to find out what happened to the last inquisitor. Apparently this last inquisitor worked to save Ferelden from an angry Avvar god. During the DLC, the inquisitor will travel to southern Thedas where the Avvar people live to aid them in pushing back a cult in that area, according to the Playstation Blog.

Dragon Age: Inquisition players can expect a whole new adventure including quests, a new area with mountains and forest as terrain, and new allies in the form of NPCs but not companions. “Jaws of Hakkon” also adds a number of weapons, armor, war table missions, and new crafting materials as well. Players can also earn new trophies or achievements on their platform of choice with the addition of the new DLC. Of course, many players will be downloading the content for the story which the official website details nicely.

“Discover the fate of the last Inquisitor and the powerful dragon he hunted. Enter an overgrown wilderness filled with Avvar, fiercely independent hunters who settled in the southern mountains of Thedas. Explore their culture to uncover what happened to the last Inquisitor and the dragon he pursued. Find an ancient Tevinter fortress that hides a dangerous secret.”

More content is on the way for Dragon Age: Inquisition players according to the creative director of the game. When the Inquisitr reported on the release of “Jaws of Hakkon” on Playstation platforms and last-generation consoles, it was also mentioned that DLC for both the single player and multiplayer modes were still being developed for the game.

A new multiplayer Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC recently released called “Dragonslayer.” This free DLC added three new characters, a new map, new weapons, and a new enemy to battle within the multiplayer. Agents in multiplayer can finally battle dragons with the new DLC, making the multiplayer a little more epic.
