Mom Of 10 On Government Benefits Wants 50 Grandchildren So Taxpayers Can Pay Her Family More

Mandy Cowie has been claiming government benefits for more than 30 years. Although she already receives more than $34,000 a years to take care of her 10 children, she still insists what she receives from the government just isn’t enough for the lavish lifestyle she desires to have.

So, what’s her solution to the financial setback? Apparently, she wants each of her 10 children to have five children each, because 50 grandchildren would bring in massive benefits from the government.

It has been reported that only one of her eight adult children is employed, so Cowie sees her proposed idea as a long-term financial strategy for the family. According to the Daily Star, the controversial 49-year-old mom shamelessly shared her perspective of long-term welfare with absolutely no reservations.

She insists the guaranteed income is much more promising — and lucrative — than finding a job. With the money she receives from the government, she’s been able to pay for more than $3,000 in tattoos, so she has no interest in finding a job.

“Ten kids and full of tattoos mate. So what if I’m on the effing dole mate — don’t like it, eff off. I had my first one at 18 and my last one at 36, and I’ve told them I want 50 grand-kids before I die.”

During a recent interview with Benefits Britain, Cowie voiced her opinion about the criticism she receives for being on benefits for such a long period of time. However, she insists she can’t work because of the staggering number of children she’s raising.

“People may be shocked that I’ve been on benefits for so long but I don’t care. I can’t work because of the kids, and while the pregnancies weren’t planned, I love having a big family. I probably wouldn’t get a job that would pay as much as I get now anyway. People might judge but if it’s there on offer, who wouldn’t take it?”

Ironically, Cowie’s monthly income includes a “jobseekers’ allowance,” along with disability benefits for her son, Jack, and a number of other child tax credits and benefits.

The detailed breakdown of Cowie’s government benefits has sparked quite a debate, because some readers have voiced concerns about the “jobseekers’ allowance.” Most have questioned how a person can receive a “jobseekers’ allowance” when they aren’t seeking employment. Apparently, the questionable stipulation isn’t a requirement to receive benefits, because the money keeps rolling in for Cowie.
