Rapper Ja Rule Endorses Hillary Clinton On National TV
Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton got some support from an unexpected source this week when rap star Ja Rule publicly endorsed her on television.
According to the New York Daily News, Ja Rule appeared on Fox Business on Thursday to promote a new business he’s starting called Magnises, a credit card company. But before Ja Rule’s segment was over, one of the Fox hosts asked his opinion on the 2016 Presidential Election. Despite admitting he likes two candidates, Ja Rule openly endorsed Hillary Clinton due to his Democratic leanings.
“I like Hillary. I like Hillary. But, you know, it’s crazy because… I also think Jeb [Bush] is a good candidate, as well. But, you know, I don’t — I’m a Democrat, so yeah, so I would vote Hillary.”
Shortly after Ja Rule endorsed Hillary Clinton, the topic began trending on the internet. His response about throwing support toward Hillary Clinton was abuzz all across Twitter. Ja Rule responded to all the talk about Hillary Clinton with a sense of humor, but also reminded the people of the web that the real reason he showed up on Fox News was to talk about his new business, not the election.

A lot of the tweets referring to how the rapper endorsed Hillary Clinton were positive, but many commented that the Queens recording artist is far from an expert and implied that his opinion on Hillary Clinton doesn’t affect the presidential race.
Asking Ja Rule for the rap community’s take on politics in 2015 is like asking Alexander Graham Bell his feelings on emojis.

According to the Boom Box, Ja Rule did have an opinion on the chaos and violence happening in Baltimore as a result of the protests regarding the death of Freddie Gray, stating that America needs a formidable president like Hillary Clinton to take on the issue of racism and injustice.
“It’s a very sad situation with what’s going on in Baltimore. I think this is going on throughout the country, you know? Somebody needs to be peacemaker to make things better on that front.”
Even with all the jokes at the expense of Ja Rule, Hillary Clinton can use all the endorsement she can get. A book was recently published attempting to expose Hillary and the Clinton Foundation for accepting donations from foreign government, then treating those governments preferably via the State Department. Added to that the scandal Hillary Clinton faced when misusing an email account.
