Porsha Williams Wants ‘RHOA’ Return Alongside Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, And NeNe Leakes

Porsha Williams wants to be holding a peach when season 8 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres. In an interview with OK! Magazine, posted on Friday, Porsha talked about her future with the show and which of the other ladies she thinks should continue to hold a peach.

Porsha, who was a friend of the housewives for season 7, said that she would return for another season if asked.

“I will if offered. I would not mind returning to the show. It’s a great opportunity. It’s a great platform and I do enjoy the friends that I have on the show, so it would be a natural progression if I were to continue on with them.”

Not surprisingly, Porsha would not like to see Claudia Jordan, Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore return to the show. Throughout the seventh season, Porsha had conflict with all three women. Claudia, who works in the same building and for the same employer as Porsha, accused her early on of being rude and jealous. Claudia and Kenya later accused Porsha, during the group’s vacation in the Philippines, of being with a married man from Africa for money and gifts. As for Cynthia, Porsha and her have had some tense words with one another at the reunion show, the third and final part of which airs on Sunday, after Porsha claimed that there was cheating going on in Cynthia and Peter Thomas’ marriage.

Instead, Porsha Williams wants to see her allies return for another season.

“I want to see the people that I like return. Kandi [Burruss], Phaedra [Parks] and NeNe [Leakes].”

While Porsha thinks that Claudia shouldn’t return, Claudia doesn’t think that Porsha should return, either as a starring or recurring housewife. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Claudia said that Porsha was just a NeNe co-signer and doesn’t contribute enough to the show beyond just being cute.

In October 2014, executive producer Andy Cohen explained why Porsha was reduced to a recurring housewife role for the seventh season. He denied that she was punished for physically attacking Kenya Moore at the season 6 reunion show.

“It had nothing to do with anything that happened at the reunion last season. Really, it was about the amount of story we got from Porsha this season. We went into it assuming she would be a full housewife, holding a peach. We just haven’t gotten enough to merit that. She’s going to be in it a lot. We love her. I hope she’ll be on Bravo endlessly.”

Even if Porsha Williams doesn’t get invited back for another season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she has plenty to keep her busy. She told OK! that she has a lingerie line that’s coming out this summer. Her hair extension line, Go Naked Hair, is “is doing very, very well, and the ratings for Dish Nation, which she co-hosts, is up.
