The reboot and sequel for the 1983 comedy classic starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo takes on the travels of a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms), 30 years after the original family trip. He now has his own family as Christina Applegate plays his wife and Leslie Mann has come into the franchise to play his sister Audrey.
Rusty has two children of his own and wants to relive the vacation that his family took so many years ago. There are some hilarious inside jokes in the trailer which pokes a little fun at the first Vacation and how long ago it was released, per Coming Soon.
For those that are fans of the Vacation franchise, you won’t be disappointed. This film is obviously and totally rated a hard “R” for a good reason. The red-band trailer shows that there are a lot of dirty jokes and no punches pulled, just like in the 1983 comedy.
As referenced by Spinoff Online, there are some interesting cameos in the film and that includes Chris Hemsworth. You really just need to watch the trailer to get the full comedy of it and understand it totally.
