Carrie Underwood On Vacation: Country Singer Posts Bikini Pic — Sort Of
It’s been less than three months since Carrie Underwood gave birth to her son, Isaiah, but the country singer is ready to share her post-baby body.
Kind of.
On Tuesday, Underwood shared a selfie while on vacation. Underwood appears to be lying on a towel or in a beach chair, and Carrie is seen from the shoulders up. Underwood doesn’t indicate where she has traveled to in order to relax.
In recent months, much has been made of just how much Underwood has stayed out of the public eye. In April, Carrie was absent from the American Country Music awards, despite being nominated in three categories.
In fact, since the birth of Isaiah, Underwood has only been spotted in public once — on the first night of the National Hockey League Stanley Cup Playoffs. That night, she was seen supporting her husband, Nashville Predators player Mike Fisher, as his team took on the Chicago Blackhawks.
Carrie Underwood admits that since Isaiah was born, she’s struggled to balance motherhood and her career — just like any other new mother. For example, in March, Carrie tweeted about a lack of time to get ready while promoting her fitness line at the same time.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Underwood also admits that she had a little bit more trouble than normal with her diet during pregnancy. The singer usually eats a vegan- and plant-based diet, but during pregnancy she was a bit more lenient with her food intake, she said. The combination of limited photos and few public appearances have led many media outlets to speculate that Underwood just isn’t ready to reveal her post-baby body yet.
That’s OK with fans though, who are patiently waiting for Underwood to make her way back to work. In fact, many fans have commended Underwood for taking time with her family and for getting back into shape on her own time.
The good news for fans is this: Underwood has returned to the studio, and she’s taken her son with her. On April 20, Carrie tweeted that Isaiah likes her new music.
Played some of the new music this morning for little Isaiah and he smiled from ear to ear the whole time! I think we’re on the right track! — Carrie Underwood (@carrieunderwood) April 20, 2015
Carrie Underwood is not expected to appear in public again until June 26 in Ozark, Arkansas. Then, Carrie Underwood is expected to perform at the Thunder on the Mountain Country Music Festival.
