‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ Patch 7 Update Notes Reveal Class Balance Changes, Bug Fixes

BioWare, the developer of Dragon Age: Inquisition, is pushing a big update to the game on May 5. Both single player and multiplayer aspects of the game are getting some free content in addition to a general patch. Those enjoying single player will be able to utilize the Black Emporium, while agents in the multiplayer have new characters and maps to master.

The official patch notes for Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s patch 7, however, were posted today on the BioWare blog. A number of single player and multiplayer changes are included. For example, in single player, the “Dragon’s Bane” achievement and trophy should now unlock properly after killing 10 high dragons. For multiplayer, players can now salvage multiple items at one time, the Arcane Warrior and Templar received a few balance changes, and a number of hangs and crashes were addressed. Even the previously released “Jaws of Hakkon” received a few updates before its release on the remaining platforms. Specifically, the dragon found within the DLC should no longer be stuck on a perch.

The single player addition to Dragon Age: Inquisition, called the “Black Emporium,” lets players change their appearance after character creation. The free DLC also gives the player an opportunity to purchase a few new items. Moreover, players that have the Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II linked into their Dragon Age Keep will also receive two special thrones for use in Skyhold.

Those that play in Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s multiplayer also have a substantial free DLC coming their way. This DLC, which is also free, adds dragons to the multiplayer portion of the game. It sounds like players will have to craft an object to summon a dragon to fight. Additionally, three new playable agents will be available for those that craft their armor or find them in chests. Avvar the warrior from the single player campaign, Zither the virtuoso from BioWare April Fools’ joke, and Isabela the raider from Dragon Age II are the new agents players should expect. A new Ferelden castle map is also part of the “Dragonslayer” DLC.

Both additions to Dragon Age: Inquisition, the “Black Emporium” and the “Dragonslayer” DLCs were discussed at length in a recent Inquisitr piece just days ago. Dragon Age: Inquisition players should also expect the release of the first single player DLC “Jaws of Hakkon” on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on May 26. The previously released story-based DLC was first released on Xbox One and PC due to a timed exclusive with Microsoft.
