Mom & Cops: 10-Year-Old ‘Arrested’ By Cops, Taught Lesson By Mom After Misbehaving

A mom called cops to have her 10-year-old son arrested because he was misbehaving. According to Sport Act, Sean’s mom, Chiquita Hill, was not about to let her son get away with anything. Rather than reprimand him, scold him, smack him, or ground him, she decided to scare him, and she thinks that she made a great decision.

Hill worked it out ahead of time with police officers in Georgia. They showed up at the house and took Sean into “pretend” custody. Of course, he didn’t know that, and he cried. A lot.

“They put him in handcuffs and were loud and he didn’t have time to react. They put him in the car and let him sit and think about it. Then they went back to the car and one of the officers got in and flashed the lights and started driving just a few inches,” said Hill.

After the ordeal, Hill says that Sean gave her a hug and that he apologized to her.

The mom who called the cops on her 10-year-old son doesn’t regret her decision for one minute. She cited what has been going on in Missouri and Baltimore, and said that she doesn’t want her son going down the wrong path. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Hill says her son learned an invaluable lesson that day, and it sounds like it changed him — for the better.

“I’m glad I did this. He will be 11 this month. He’s hitting that pre-teen age. … I understand that he will be going through changes. … But with all the things going on in Missouri and in Baltimore, I want to stop anything from happening while he’s young and impressionable,” Hill explained.

After the mom called the cops on her 10-year-old, she posted the story on Facebook. While some people are criticizing her decision, many think it’s a great idea. According to the New York Daily News, Hill says that Sean’s attitude has changed“dramatically,” and that he is doing better in school and isn’t misbehaving. She continues to defend her actions, and truly believes that this little scare tactic will help keep her son walking in a straight line.

“Parenting does not come with a manual. I raised my son the best way I know how so he can be a productive member of society. I want to get him off right before he gets older because I don’t want him to go to jail,” she said.

Do you think Chiquita Hill did a positive thing here?
