Mom Calls Cops On 10-Year-Old: Georgia Mom Teaches 10-Year-Old Son A Lesson After He Misbehaves

A mom decided to call the cops on her 10-year-old son after he was being disrespectful in an effort to teach him a lesson. According to the Canada Journal, Chiquita Hill “staged an arrest” for her son, Sean, because she wanted him to learn an important lesson about consequences.

Her reasoning?

“[He was being] rude and disrespectful, not listening, talking back, not doing his school work.”

Sean was very upset when he was handcuffed and put into the back of a police car for several minutes. His mother, however, says that she is glad that she did this, and she thinks that her son learned a valuable lesson by getting “arrested.”

“I’m glad I did this. He will be 11 this month. He’s hitting that pre-teen age. … I understand that he will be going through changes. … But with all the things going on in Missouri and in Baltimore, I want to stop anything from happening while he’s young and impressionable,” Hill explained.

The officers involved apparently did not seek permission to do this, but they are not being punished in any way at this time.

The mom who had cops arrest her 10-year-old says that her son gave her a hug and apologized for his behavior after the ordeal. According to My Fox 8, Chiquita Hill decided to share the story on Facebook, and many people have been applauding her for taking such action. So far, the post has received over 3,500 likes and has been shared over 1,000 times. As the media continues to cover the story, it is starting to go viral.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the following was posted on Facebook.

“They put him in handcuffs and were loud and he didn’t have time to react. They put him in the car and let him sit and think about it. At that time, they called my daughter out and talked to her. They explained to her why her brother was in trouble and sent her back inside. Then they went back to the car and one of the officers got in and flashed the lights and started driving just a few inches. Clearly he was hurt. It hurt me. I didn’t want to do it, but I had to get across to him.”
