Log In To ‘Marvel Heroes’ On Free Comic Book Day For A Free ‘Age Of Ultron’ Iron Man Costume

Free Comic Book Day comes around once a year, and when it does, comic enthusiasts can head to the participating retailer of their choice for a few free comics. This year is no different, and the free goodies are extending to a free-to-play Marvel MMO. Players can log in to Marvel Heroes on Free Comic Book Day for a free Iron Man costume.

On May 2, anyone that logs in to the game will receive a free Iron Man costume. The free costume is modeled after the Iron Man Mk 43 costume found in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Marvel Heroes players were notified via Gazillion’s, the developer of the game’s, communication with ComicBook.

“… Coinciding nicely with Saturday’s Free Comic Book Day, Gazillion tells ComicBook.com exclusively that they will give away the Iron Man Mk 43 costume, fresh from Age of Ultron, to all users who login on Saturday May 2, 2015.”

Marvel Heroes players have plenty of new content and updates coming their way in accord with the release of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Brand new costumes inspired by the movie are now available as a bundle, with each releasing to the in-game store sporadically. Players can outfit Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, and the upcoming playable Vision with an Age of Ultron costume.

“In celebration of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, in U.S. theaters May 1, Marvel Heroes 2015 is releasing eight movie-inspired costumes for characters seen in the film. They’ll be released individually over the next few weeks, or you can buy – and use – them all NOW by purchasing a Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron Pack.”

The Iron Man costume from the bundle is a different one from the one being offered on Free Comic Book Day. The one in the bundle is Iron Man’s Hulkbuster costume. Both it and Captain America’s new Age of Ultron costume are purchasable individually in the Marvel Heroes store right now. Other costumes from the bundle will release to the store for individual purchase soon.

As the Inquisitr reported, playable Vision, the new Age of Ultron game mode, a Quicksilver team-up, and the team-up systems revamp are all scheduled to release soon within Marvel Heroes. Most will launch near the release of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, while others will roll out later in the month of May and perhaps beyond. Not to mention, achievements and Scarlet Witch’s review are expected to release in a timely manner.
