Dick Van Dyke Announces He’s Married

Dick Van Dyke and Arlene Silver have announced their recent marriage on RumorFix.com. Van Dyke, who is 86, met his beautiful wife, who is 40, about 6 years ago, at the SAG Awards. He hired Silver to become his personal make up artist, where their friendship blossomed into love. The couple married on Leap Day, saying of the unique wedding date that, “we just decided Leap Day would be the best time to do it.” The decision was spur of the moment, but was perfect for them.

Van Dyke, who is famous for many movies and TV shows, including Mary Poppins, admits that he is a relationship person. He has four children from his first marriage, which ended in divorce. He also lived with long-time girlfriend Michelle Triola for over 30 years before she passed away in 2009.

The actor, who is still in perfect health, says of new wife Arlene, “She keeps up with me.” He also tells RumorFix.com that being a newlywed in his 80’s is, “Wonderful. Wonderful.” He also states of his constant “taken” relationship status since 1948, “I’m not a loner. I have to have a life partner. I found the perfect one.” Despite the age difference between Dick Van Dyke and Arlene Silver, it sounds like they have the perfect love.
