‘Teen Mom 3’ Mackenzie Douthit & Husband Josh McKee Are Headed For Divorce [Report]
Teen Mom 3 couple Mackenzie Douthit and Josh McKee have reportedly called it quits after two years of marriage. On April 19, TMZ shared the heartbreaking news, claiming McKee through Douthit’s wedding ring in the toilet and walked out on her and their two children.
Douthit and McKee’s relationship was spotlighted for a number of months on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant, and Teen Mom 3, and throughout their reality television journey, their courtship showed signs of cracks.
On 16 & Pregnant, the pair appeared fairly stable, but after the birth of their son, Gannon, things appeared to take a turn for the worse. While Douthit expected her longtime boyfriend to step up, both as a dad, and as a partner, McKee often disappointed the Teen Mom 3 star, and the couple’s relationship was often strained.
However, despite their hardships and frequent breakups, the Teen Mom 3 couple eventually revealed, in August 2013, that they were both married and expecting their second child together, a baby girl, who was born in February 2014.
According to Us Weekly, the Teen Mom 3 star, who the Inquisitr reported was recently involved in a car accident, released a statement on Facebook about her exciting news and fought back against haters on Twitter, as well.
“For everyone wondering, I’m 12 weeks pregnant… time to tell the truth… Been married for months but I’m not allowed to get pregs with my husband without Miami girls subtweeting… do I look like I care???? Im married yall and happier than all of you. God knows what he is doing… get a life…”
“Yes I love everyone checking on me, but yes I have reached my breaking point and have literally been through hell and back these last three days. I have kept this a secret because I’m probably the easiest target of all miami to judge. I only told cause people are asking why I’m fat lol…. So I’m not texting anyone back right now I need some time to myself. So sorry if ur mad cause I’m not texting back. Or mad cause you didn’t know about this…”
According to TMZ, the Teen Mom 3 couple has been on the rocks for a while now, but McKee reached a breaking point after Douthit’s recent car accident, which proved costly. The report claimed Douhit was not insured at the time she crashed her brand new Kia, and thus cost both her and her husband a ton of cash.
Teen Mom 3 was canceled years ago after just one season.
