‘Real Housewives’ Brandi Glanville Looks Back On Season 5, Claims She Was ‘Tipsy’ Just ‘Two Times’

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ fifth season came to an end on Tuesday night, and in an interview with Access Hollywood on April 15, Glanville opened up about her thoughts on the series and its cast.

“There’s a double standard – can’t talk about anything she does, but everything that anyone else does, it’s on limits, its fine. Protect kids? We all have kids.”

Throughout the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Glanville has been spotlighted as the mean, irrational one on the show. Not only did she threaten to knock Kyle Richards’ teeth out during her gay mixer, she also slapped Lisa Vanderpump on the cheek, and was involved in a physical altercation with Richards during another episode. In addition, Glanville successfully drove a wedge between Richards and her sister, Kim.

Although the Real Housewives sisters’ relationship has been up and down for years, Glanville’s interference caused even more tension between them. In one instance, Glanville shamelessly told Kim that Kyle was manipulating her — and had been for years. Then, she suggested Kim take time off from Kyle, which the troubled reality star did.

Also in her interview with Access Hollywood, Glanville defended herself against reports of her drinking too much, claiming she wasn’t intoxicated nearly as much as the show made it seem.

“You see an hour a week, we shoot for three months out of the year. I think I was tipsy two times? We shoot a dinner… it looks like I’m drunk four weeks in a row and really it was one night. I think if I had a drinking problem I wouldn’t have everything that I have going on. I’m working on my third book, I have a new wine coming out. I have two children.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Real Housewives star recently appeared on E!’s Good Work, where she discussed her many plastic surgeries, which include a breast augmentation, vaginal rejuvenation, fillers, and Botox.

“I’ve definitely made some [plastic surgery] mistakes,” she said, via a Perez Hilton report.

“As you look, you’re like, ‘Maybe I shouldn’t have done, or maybe I need to do this.’ And I definitely over-filled, and I definitely had some bad Botox where your eyes drop. But, you know, there’s no shame in my game!”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has yet to be renewed for a sixth season.
