Anna Kendrick Demands More ‘Game Of Thrones’ Male Nudity

Anna Kendrick has taken to Twitter to discuss a subject that she clearly holds very dear to her heart: the lack of male nudity on Game Of Thrones.

The Oscar-nominated actress took to her account to post the following message shortly after the first episode of the fifth season of the HBO fantasy drama had premiered.

Kendrick wrote on Twitter, “Madonna kissed Drake, Hilary’s running for president, but HBO STILL hasn’t shown this dude’s d***?? #FeministPriority,” alongside a picture of Game Of Thrones’ Daario Naharis.

By the sound of Kendrick’s message, the 29-year-old has developed quite the crush on Michiel Huisman, who has portrayed Daario Naharis on the show for the past two seasons.

Before Huisman was cast as Daario Naharis the character was portrayed by Ed Skrein, who dropped out of the show after he was cast in the lead role in The Transporter: Refueled, replacing Jason Statham as the protagonist in the franchise.

Huisman has previously shed his clothes on Game Of Thrones during his bedroom scenes with Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen. However, unlike his co-star who regularly appeared in the nude in Game Of Thrones throughout its opening seasons, in these scenes Huisman has only been seen naked from the back.

This isn’t the first time that Kendrick has taken Twitter by storm with her open adulation for a male actor. Back in January 2013, she wrote out the following after watching Gangster Squad, which starred Ryan Gosling.

In January 2015, Kendrick spoke to Nylon, via The Hollywood Reporter, about her expletive message, admitting that even though she’s not embarrassed by it, she’s relieved that she’s never actually been in a room with Gosling.

“Thank God I’ve never been in a room with him! I don’t feel embarrassed, though. I’m sure he has a sense of humor. But I’d probably feel like I’d have to address [the tweet], and I’d end up saying something to make it much, much worse,” she explained.

The fifth season of Game Of Thrones will continue to air on HBO over the next over 9 weeks, while Anna Kendrick will next be seen alongside Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and Hailee Steinfeld in Pitch Perfect 2, which is due out on May 15, 2015.
