‘RHOA’ Kenya Moore And Phaedra Parks On Whether They’ll Really Move Forward

Is the feud between Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks really over? Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta showed Kenya and Phaedra, both in tears, agreeing to move on from their drama, praying together and hugging it out. On their respective blog posts posted on Wednesday, both women talked about whether they will now truly move forward.

When asked if she and Phaedra can sincerely move forward, Kenya said that she can’t say if Phaedra can. Kenya then seemed to point out Phaedra’s hypocrisy regarding being a woman with strong Christian beliefs. Kenya’s dig at Phaedra seems to indicate that there’s still some hard feelings between the two, or at least Kenya is still holding on to some.

“I honestly can’t say whether or not Phaedra can move forward, as I can only speak for myself. What I have tried to do is have an open heart and a listening ear and compassion for others in difficult times. We all make mistakes, but in life you can’t live in the past. You cannot hurt people because you are hurting and never try to make amends. You also can’t cherry pick what parts of the Bible you chose to accept for your convenience. The Bible says: Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. If Phaedra is truly sincere about accepting God’s word, she will do just that.”

As for Phaedra, she was more conciliatory in her response to whether she and Kenya can truly move forward.

“Words cannot be unsaid, stories cannot be untold, and old experiences no longer unfold. As I have said before, wounds require air to heal, and I think this conversation was the air. Ultimately, time will tell, but no matter what happens, I have a clear conscience knowing that I truly listened to what Kenya had to say. Hopefully, Kenya received my expressions as they were intended.”

Phaedra also said that she was glad to finally have a one-on-one conversation with Kenya.

“It was not easy to let my guard down with someone whom seemed to relish in my hardships and played such a role in bringing conflict to my life. This conversation was a long time coming, and we were led to this moment by a force greater than both of us, so I decided to have faith, embrace the moment, and let go.”

During their conversation together, Kenya told Phaedra that she’s telling the truth about never wanting her husband Apollo Nida and that she needs Phaedra to believe that. Phaedra wouldn’t absolve Kenya of all responsibility but admitted that wrongs were done by both of them and explained that she had to stick by her husband.

Kenya Moore still seems to want Phaedra Parks to say that she was wrong about it all. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, right before Sunday night’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired, Kenya tweeted that her conversation with Phaedra Parks is “a real testimony 2 [her] personal evolution” and shows people “what forgiveness means.” The week prior, Kenya posted a video montage of all the hurtful things and accusations that Phaedra and Apollo Nida have said over the seasons and asked her followers if they believe that she’s still owed an apology.
