WWE News: When Will Brock Lesnar And Paul Heyman Return To WWE Television?

When Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE in 2012, his contract was part-time. For those who remember Lesnar’s comeback to the squared circle, it entailed a match with John Cena at Extreme Rules. After that occurred, the future WWE World Heavyweight champion didn’t return until SummerSlam. That was 2012, and this is now 2015, yet Lesnar’s new contract is very similar.

According to SEScoops.com, the WWE will be keeping Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman off TV until the biggest party of the summer, SummerSlam.

“The current plan seems to involve keeping Lesnar off of television until about a month before SummerSlam, meaning he would likely make his return to television at the beginning of August.”

There have been numerous praises on Twitter from the WWE Universe about how the WWE is booking Brock Lesnar. Since his return in 2012, he’s been a reckless suplex machine. In his match with John Cena at SummerSlam last year, he broke a record for the amount of german suplexes in one match. At WrestleMania with Roman Reigns, his german suplex count reached 10.

As Mark Madden of WrestleZone.com wrote, Brock Lesnar is real.

“Because Lesnar is anything but just another wrestler. His heat is amazing, and born of legitimacy. Lesnar beating up everyone in sight Monday reeked of reality.”

Madden is absolutely right about Lesnar. The WWE yearned for a “real” champion that could kick anyone’s rear at any given time. The “Beast Incarnate” was that guy for the WWE and then some. The fact that Lesnar is a stiff worker also brings his game and the WWE’s more legitimacy. If there isn’t enough proof, look at Cena and Reigns’ body after their match with Lesnar.

Going into the summer program, Seth Rollins will be the perfect foil for Brock Lesnar. After completing his babyface turn on WWE Raw, Lesnar will receive the biggest pop since CM Punk and Money in the Bank in 2011 when he returns to WWE television. Even though that was the “Raw after Mania” crowd in San Jose on Monday, the crowd loves Lesnar.

As they should, because Lesnar showed his true feelings on WWE Raw after the crowd chanted, “Suplex City.” The Minneapolis, Minnesota native cracked a smile midway through the chant. Since Lesnar will return to TV in July, that will set him up for a rematch with Seth Rollins. The rumor going around is that those two will headline WWE’s SummerSlam. How many german suplexes will Rollins make that night?
