Nicole Richie Debuts New Clothing Line at QVC’s “Buzz on the Red Carpet” Event

Celebutante Nicole Richie is expanding her fashion empire.

With her extremely successful House Of Harlow 1960 accessories line, her Winter Kate collection, and her A Pea In the Pod maternity line under her belt, Richie is now looking to create a line that is the opposite of her namesake: affordable.

Richie unveiled her new “Bohemain Chic” clothing line, The Nicole Richie Collection, at the Four Seasons Hotel during last night’s “The Buzz On The Red Carpet presented by QVC.

For more information (and images) on the new collection – which consists of leather hobo bags, kimono jackets and maxi dresses – head over to Nicole’s official website here. Prices for the Nicole Richie Collection will reportedly begin at $75 dollars (so much for affordable).

Of her teamup with QVC, Richie, 30, explained:

“QVC is a well-oiled machine and to be in business with them is so exciting because it gives me an opportunity to design for a much broader range of women. I wanted you to be able to walk into your closet with your eyes closed and pick something special.”

Other celebs who showed up to support QVC included Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner (debuting their K-Dash line), George Clooney’s love Stacy Keibler, Emily VanCamp, Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet, Precious star Gabourey Sidibe and Kimora Lee Simmons.
