A drug test was recently given to Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, and while the reality star has often been seen struggling with addiction, she has reportedly passed the test with “flying colors.”
On March 30, Evans’ drug test results were revealed.
“Jenelle took the drug test and passed with flying colors,” a source close to the reality star told Radar Online.
“Jenelle wants to get a real job and she’s taking everything so seriously right now so that she can make a good impression by showing how she would be a good employee.”
As fans may recall, Evans struggled with an addiction to heroin after her son, Jace, was born. On episodes of Teen Mom 2, fans watched as Evans and her boyfriend at the time, Kieffer Delp, came under the grip of their addiction and struggled to get back on their feet. After the couple split up years ago, Evans began dating and got married to, Courtland Rogers. During their brief relationship, they were often seen strung out and appeared to be heading down a dark path. Luckily, in late 2012, Evans reportedly kicked her heroin habit. Since then, Evans has been doing well, aside from an arrest in 2013.
In August of that year as Radar Online reported, Evans failed a court-ordered drug test. According to the report, Evans tested positive for marijuana after a drug-related arrest in South Carolina.
“Jenelle pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and all the other charges were dismissed,” Evans’ attorney, Dustin Sullivan, told Radar.
Prior to news of Evans’ drug test as the Inquisitr reported, the reality star had been feuding with her fiancé, Nathan Griffith. After getting engaged earlier this year, the couple began fighting online and at their South Carolina home. Eventually, one of their arguments allegedly became physical, and on March 4, Griffith was arrested.
In an OK! Magazine report, a source claimed that despite Evans and Griffith’s volatile relationship, they are considering getting back together.
“Jenelle is taking Nathan back. They have a family, and they’re working things out. He’s very sorry he pushed her the way he did.”
Following their alleged altercation, Griffith was placed on a no contact order which restricted him from communicating with Evans. However, weeks later, it was reported the order against him had been lifted.
No word yet on whether or not Jenelle Evans’ drug test will be seen on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2.
