‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ Event Offers Free In-Game Rewards For Earning Gold Multiplayer Medals

Another weekend calls for another multiplayer event for agents of the Inquisition in Dragon Age: Inquisition. As announced on BioWare’s official Twitter account for the game, players can expect a rematch of a previously-failed multiplayer weekend event. Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer agents are tasked with the Mission: Golden challenge, an event that failed the last time it was underway.

When the Golden mission last appeared, players were informed that they needed to earn gold medal in multiplayer games in order to receive the reward for personal medals and the reward for community medals. If the last Golden challenge is any indication, Dragon Age: Inquisition players will need to earn 20 gold medals personally while the entire community is required to earn 750,000 gold medals on the current generation of consoles. Last generation users must earn 80,000 gold medals to earn their chest.

Like all multiplayer events in Dragon Age: Inquisition, reaching the personal goal immediately rewards the player with a commendation chest containing random rewards inside. If the community goal is reached, agents are rewarded with a victory chest after the event concludes. Personal progress can be tracked via the challenges area in the multiplayer menu.

Players earn medals in each session by performing well. For example, not dying during an entire campaign yields a gold medal. Other gold medals can be earned by executing a number of weapon kills, skill kills, kill streaks, and more. The issue with earning several of these medals stems from the fact that the killing blow is required to up the count. That means that if a teammate kills something before you get a chance to, your count to earn the gold medal for those particular goals will not increase. Many Dragon Age: Inquisition opt to earn their personal goal solo during an event like this by playing a high level character on routine difficulty to ensure their completion.

Agents in multiplayer should be interested in the update Dragon Age: Inquisition recently received. As Inquisitr reported on the patch that buffed the Katari multiplayer kit, prevented players from salvaging something equipped by their multiplayer characters, and fixed certain combos from counting twice in a dungeon. Those interested in the single-player should also be aware that the first single-player DLC called Jaws of Hakkon is out now on PC and Xbox One. The release of it is yet to be dated, but confirmed to exist, on PlayStation 4 and last-generation consoles.

Does a rematch event in Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer motivate you to support your fellow agents this weekend?
