Porsha Williams Responds to Claudia Jordan Talking About Taking Her ‘Dish Nation’ Job
During her Watch What Happens Live appearance on Sunday, Claudia Jordan was asked if she’s after Porsha Williams’ Dish Nation job. The caller pointed out that Claudia recently filled in for Porsha on the TV show and was promoted to a starring housewife role on Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta while Porsha was reduced to a recurring role. Claudia said that she’s not purposefully going after what Porsha has.
“I’m not after anything, but if they want to ask me to come and sit in, then I’m going to work and step up to the plate and do my job. I’ve been doing this for a long time. It’s a fun gig and I enjoy it… I’m not after [anything]… I just rolled up onto the scene.”
Porsha is currently vacationing in Los Angeles and apparently hasn’t watched the entire WWHL episode, but that hasn’t stopped her from making her opinions on what Claudia said known. Porsha retweeted a fan’s tweet that declared that Claudia can never replace Porsha. Porsha also retweeted another fan’s tweet that pointed out that Porsha is still on The Real Housewives of Atlanta for practically every episode.
Claudia also works for Rickey Smiley, as a co-host on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show. Porsha’s Dish Nation show tapes right after the morning show at Smiley’s studios in downtown Atlanta.
In one episode of Real Housewives, Rickey Smiley hosted a party in honor of Porsha’s new job as a co-host. Claudia attended the party and tried to mend things with Porsha. Unfortunately, the two ended up having a big argument at the work party. Claudia later posted a tweet that made clear that she thought it was Porsha who was unprofessional.

During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Claudia also made clear that she never went after Porsha’s ex, Kordell Stewart. In one episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she was shown being very friendly to Kordell and her friend, Kenya Moore, declared her to be “the next Mrs. Kordell Stewart.”
“I’ve never had any romantic situations with Kordell. I caught a lot of flak for that, people really thought I was going after him. I’ve known Kordell for seventeen years, we’ve been nothing but cool and nothing but platonic. He didn’t try, I didn’t try, we’re just cool. I wasn’t trying to be shady with Porsha.”
During her appearance on The Steve Harvey Show last week, Porsha Williams denied Claudia Jordan’s claim, made during the group’s Puerto Rico trip, that she was dating a rich African man for money.
“No, I’m not dating an African prince, however it’s been in the social media so much, I’m sure an African Prince will be seeking me out, okay. So, come forth … I will be Princess Porsha. But no everybody, I’m single and I’m in the public eye and I haven’t told anybody who I’m dating… I laugh at it. I’m successful. People see me with nice things and I’m doing well for myself… I think they [Kenya Moore and Claudia] should rename themselves to maybe ‘The Desperados’ or something like that…”
