WWE News: Big Update On Brock Lesnar Walking Out On ‘WWE RAW,’ Major Contract Dispute Occurring With WWE?

When it comes to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, the only thing for sure is that nothing is for sure. He is a wildcard who could stay or go, and no one knows currently what he’ll decide other than Brock himself. WWE has been trying to re-sign him for months now, but have yet to be successful. It is said that the contract negotiations are really hitting a wall on the length, but the money seems to be where it needs to be.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar did, in fact, walk out on WWE RAW this past week. Many had heard the rumor that he left over Roman Reigns, who was said to have failed a WWE drug test. WWE claims this is false, which kills the idea that Brock walked out of RAW because of Reigns. Many then assumed that Lesnar was not even in the building or scheduled for the show on Monday.

The Observer claims that Lesnar was, in fact, in the building. He was set to appear on the show, most likely in the main event in some fashion. So why did he walk out? The truth is that it was over contractual issues. It is said that the point has come that neither side wants to bend or back down, so WWE and Lesnar have hit a wall. When it comes down to it, WWE clearly has the twos while Lesnar has the aces. Lesnar is the only one who will decide his future, and WWE has to convince him to sign. He is not trying to get in with WWE right now.

One rumor coming out of the meeting was that Lesnar wanted to both fight for UFC and wrestle for WWE. This way he could be involved in both things he likes and make the most money possible. He’d wrestle the same amount, which would leave the door open for most of the year where he could compete in MMA fights with UFC.

While this is not confirmed, we do know that Lesnar is interested in working for UFC again. Many believe he’d only leave WWE for UFC, as there are no other options past this.

Despite this, it is said that UFC was not involved with Lesnar storming off.

WWE is not out of the woods with this yet. While it can be assumed that Lesnar will do business for them, he is only scheduled for two more WWE RAW shows before WrestleMania itself. He is then set to be on the WWE RAW after WrestleMania. While negotiations are still ongoing and the Lesnar issue is still going on as well, we do know that Lesnar is going to show up for his remaining dates, if nothing more. He does not want to breach his contract, as he would not get paid for the remainder of his contract.

Plus, Lesnar is a good businessman and knows being involved in the WrestleMania main event is a big deal for him. Lesnar’s next date for WWE is March 9, so we will most likely see him there. This happens to be in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, just a hot jump from Philadelphia, where Roman Reigns was booed out of the building and Lesnar was cheered in a major way. So it’ll be interesting to see how this crowd reacts to both men just a few weeks before WrestleMania 31.
