The Walking Dead Actor, Markice ‘Kesan’ Moore, Attempts Suicide

The Walking Dead actor Markice “Kesan” Moore reportedly attempted to commit suicide earlier this week.

According to TMZ, the Walking Dead actor was found unresponsive Tuesday morning in his Woodland Hills home by friends after reportedly overdosing on a deadly mix of Xanax and Patron. Moore was rushed to a local area hospital, where he was treated and placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. At the time of this report, Moore had been released and is currently undergoing therapy.

US Weekly reported that the Walking Dead actor recorded a video “in which he outlined his plans to end his life, telling his kids why he wanted to take such a drastic measure.”

Since the announcement of Markice Moore’s suicide attempt, fans have been taking to social media to send their thoughts and prayers to the Walking Dead actor and his family and friends.

While the reasoning behind the Walking Dead actor’s recent suicide attempt has yet to be released, Moore’s manager reportedly told Us Weekly that he had been upset following the recent death of his grandmother.

“At this time, Mr. Moore is focused on getting the help he needs and moving forward with his life to live it to the fullest,” Moore’s manager said in a statement to the celebrity site.

“He has a bright future ahead of him that he is looking forward to. We ask that you respect his privacy while he is taking time to heal and keep Markice and his family in your prayers.”

Moore reportedly got his acting start in 2006 in the film ALT, before appearing on the VH1 reality series From G’s to Gents in 2008. He also had a guest appearance on the series Army Wives in 2010, and played former prisoner Andrew for three episodes in Season 3 of AMC’s the Walking Dead.
