How To Easily Peel A Hard Boiled Egg With Nothing More Than A Glass Of Water [Video]

Peeling hard boiled eggs can be a real pain. Sometimes the shells come off nice and easily, allowing for a beautiful and smooth hard boiled egg appearance. However, sometimes you get a stubborn shell that refuses to come off easily. This can leave you with an ugly mess of an egg that looks like it has been in a knife fight. Fortunately for you, there is a way to get a beautiful, easy-to-peel egg every time.

The folks at Micah Media uploaded a hard boiled egg peeling method that takes under three seconds to perform. All that is needed is a glass with about an inch of water in the bottom. The method may seem too good to be true, but commenters say it really works.

According to the video, to perform the perfect peeling of a hard boiled egg, you will take a completely boiled egg and place it in a glass that has approximately one inch of water in the bottom. Simply shake the egg around violently in the bottom of the glass. Next, simply grab the shell and the whole thing will come off in one easy peeling action. Now you will have a perfectly peeled hard boiled egg. That is all!

To test the method, the group even did a demonstration of the process with six eggs at once. Guess what? It worked like a charm.

In other hard boiled egg news, scientists have recently discovered a way to “unboil” an egg.

What is your tried-and-true hard boiled egg peeling method? Have you tried the glass trick? Did it work for you?
