WWE News: Latest Update From Reddit User ‘MetsFan4Ever’ On Roman Reigns And Daniel Bryan
The WWE is in full-swing and prepared for WrestleMania 31. As of right now, a few of the matches are supposedly set in stone. Triple H alluded on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast that he’s training for a return to the ring. For the last few months, it’s been rumored that he would wrestle Sting at WrestleMania 31. Another match seemingly confirmed is John Cena vs. Rusev in a rematch for the U.S. championship.
While the WWE Universe ponders what the main event of WWE’s WrestleMania 31 will be, one source already has the details on the marquee match in early-April. Reddit user MetsFan4Ever has another update on Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan that will most likely frustrate the WWE Universe once again.
“Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, a ‘verified WWE insider’ who has broke news in the past, has said that Roman Reigns will win his match with Daniel Bryan at WWE Fast Lane and face Brock Lesnar atWrestleMania. The only reason the Reigns/Bryan match was made, according to MetsFan4Ever, is so WWE can “please the marks” while getting Reigns over. They ‘will stick with their plan regardless of how the fans react’ because Reigns vs Lesnar is the planned main event of WrestleMania 31.”
MetsFan4Ever also noted that Vince McMahon and Triple H are certain that WrestleMania 31 will be bought no matter what the main event. He even went on to say that if Doink the Clown were to face Brock Lesnar in the main event, people would still not hesitate to watch. The famous Reddit user told the WWE fans that Bryan was picked to work with Reigns because of his strong acumen in the ring.
It’s no secret that Lesnar is a very stiff worker. If Reigns can get used to that style with Bryan, then the match at WrestleMania 31 will be a lot smoother and come off better to the audience. However, there was a point in time when WWE officials were worried Reigns’ confidence would get the better of him and come off lackluster in the ring.
Since Reigns looks like he’s locked as the next WWE World Heavyweight champion, where does that leave Daniel Bryan when he loses at WWE Fast Lane? There were numerous reports that he would face Dolph Ziggler in a match that would “steal the show.”
However, new reports are saying that the match was scrapped. If Bryan doesn’t face Ziggler, does that mean the match with Sheamus is back on? If that is the case, the WWE is not giving the WWE Universe what they want. Everybody wants to see Bryan face Ziggler if he doesn’t main event WrestleMania 31. There’s still over a month left, so things could change from now until the “Showcase of the Immortals.”
