New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Tries To Stop Mitt Romney Hecklers

GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney was heckled in New Jersey on Sunday and coming to his aid was state governor Chris Christie.

Christie endorsed Mitt Romney ahead of Tuesday’s first-in-the-nation primary in New Hampshire and came to his aid as protesters chanted “Mitt kills jobs, Christie kills jobs.”

In response the often brash Governor told protesters:

“Really? You know something may go down tonight, but it ain’t gonna be jobs sweetheart.”

Christie then pointed to his record for creating jobs in New Jersey.

The New Jersey governor then attempted to turn President Obama’s famous campaign slogan on him:

“You’re disoriented by the ways of hope and change,” said Christie.

Christie has been working the campaign trail hard for Romney, the candidate considered the likely GOP presidential frontrunner. On Sunday Christie said President Obama’s new campaign was nothing more than a campaign run on cynicism and anger.

“It is the most cynical re-election strategy you could ever think of,” Christie said. “The president is encouraging people to be angry at me, angry at Mitt, because we stand up for what America believes in.”

Perhaps the American people are angry at Mitt Romney for spending $97,000 of taxpayer dollars to wipe out every record from his Massachusetts governorship with no explanation given or his v arious exposed and proven lies spoken during Saturday’s GOP primary debate in New Hampshire.

Then again perhaps the protesters were just mad that Mitt Romney admitted to tying his family dog to the roof of his car and then driving it around for 12 hours during a family roadtrip.
