Why Slash Filed For Divorced From Wife Perla Hudson After 13 Years Of Marriage

Slash filed for divorce from his wife of 13 years, Perla Hudson. The former Guns ‘N Roses guitar player is citing irreconcilable differences, according to a TMZ report. Not only has Slash filed for divorce, but he’s also requesting joint physical and legal custody of their two boys, 12-year-old London and 10-year-old Cash.

TMZ was one of the first news outlets to break the story. Perla flew to Hawaii with their sons on Sunday night to speak with Slash. She told the guitar player that if he didn’t sort his issues that she would divorce him. Slash didn’t want to deal with his personal issues, so he filed for divorce a few days later.

Perla gave Slash six months to fix their marriage. It apparently wasn’t enough for him, so he filed for divorce on his own, according to the TMZ report. The former guitarist filed the divorce papers in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The divorce documents indicate that the couple have been separated since June 15. The couple has been legally married since Oct. 2011 and Slash initially filed for divorce back in 2010. But he withdrew his petition two months later and tried to work things out with Perla. The couple even renewed their wedding vows the following year, which they described as a “magical” ceremony with their friends and family members.

Apparently, that did nothing to change their relationship. Their relationship was known as “tumultuous” throughout the years, and it finally came to an end. Slash reportedly felt that his 13 year marriage to Perla reached the end of its rope, which prompted him to file the divorce papers.

Perla also shared a cryptic message on her Instagram account.

Slash’s wife has been very vocal about the divorce on social media.

She said about the photo, “A friend reminded me of this today #true. A single lie discovered is enough to create doubt in every truth expressed.”

Perla Hudson, formerly known as Perla Ferrar, was said to have managed Slash and hold executive posts in all of his companies. Maybe you shouldn’t mix business with pleasure. It also seems like there was some sort of betrayal in their marriage. Maybe Slash wasn’t faithful, which is probably why he filed the divorce papers so quickly this time around.

Perla also shared her thoughts on the fans who thinks she’s posting too many cryptic messages:

“Why would I want to be along [sic] with my thoughts? Have you heard some of the s**t that comes out of my mouth? I’m f***ing nuts!!”
