Jill Duggar Baby Bump: ’19 Kids’ Star Dresses ‘Baby Dilly’ In Festive Decor For Christmas
Jill Duggar’s baby bump got a festive bit of decoration as the 19 Kids and Counting star and her husband shared an update via social media as they celebrated Christmas. “Baby Dilly” is said to be due in the spring, though Jill’s baby bump sure manages to get people buzzing about his highly-anticipated arrival.
Derick and Jill Dillard announced their pregnancy shortly after their June wedding, and they shared that the baby will be a boy not long after the initial announcement. After a bit of a dry spelling in baby bump pictures from the couple on social media, the 19 Kids and Counting stars have been making up for lost time lately. The photo Jill shared on Christmas was definitely a hit with fans.
The new photo featuring Dillard’s baby bump was posted on Christmas Day, and it almost immediately garnered more than 100,000 “likes.” Jill is wearing a white sweater dress, it seems, with a green ribbon and red bow tied around her waist. There is a gift tag on the ribbon that appears to say, “To: Jill & Derick, From: God.”
Jill wrote a note with the post thanking God for their “precious little gift” and quoting some scripture. Derick posted another photo from the family holiday, saying that it’s been the best Christmas, especially since they are now man and wife. He added that it’s much better than last year when they were 8,000 miles apart, as that’s when he was still in Nepal. This picture from Derick doesn’t show Jill Duggar’s baby bump at all, but it is a sweet photo of the couple.
Many members of the family posted photos and videos on social media throughout the holiday, and it looks like it was a grand time. It seems that the Duggar family even spent some time with the Bates family, as Jessa posted a photo of the families playing a game together. 19 Kids fans have seen the Bates family on the show quite a bit before, and now Gil and Kelly Jo Bates, and their 19 kids, have their own new show called Bringing Up Bates starting in January.
19 Kids and Counting will return with new episodes in February 2015. Viewers saw Jill and Derick’s wedding near the end of the last season, and naturally much of this new season will follow them along in their pregnancy. In addition, there is Jessa Duggar’s wedding to Ben Seewald to watch, as the two got married on November 1. Derick and Jill’s baby is said to be due in March, and fans cannot wait.
