WWE News: Daniel Bryan Receives Two Awards, When Will He Be Returning To WWE Action?

WWE superstar Daniel Bryan picked up two digital awards this past week, as Bryan has been named as Major League Baseball’s Celebrity Fan of the Year in the second annual MLB Network Social Media Awards, and he is also part of MSN’s “The Power Couples of the Sports World in 2014” with his wife, Brie Bella.

This past fall, while he was healing from injury, Daniel Bryan joined the San Francisco Giants on their road to the World Series. Bryan initially showed up at AT&T Park during the NLDS, and led the Giants fans in “YES!” chants. Bryan then followed the Giants all the way to their World Series victory, posting a video on his Instagram account of himself celebrating the Giants’ World Series victory over the Kansas City Royals.

Daniel Bryan joined the San Francisco Giants during their World Series parade in San Francisco, and led the players in “YES!” chants. People may be wondering why Bryan, who is from the northwest, all of the sudden became a Giants fan. Well, the truth is, WrestleMania is taking place at Levi’s Stadium, which is the home of the San Francisco 49ers, so Bryan supporting the Giants en-route to their World Series victory was likely a WWE call, with them hoping it’ll entice fans in the area to buy a ticked to WrestleMania 31 in March.

Now here’s the question: When will Daniel Bryan be returning? Well, the Inquisitr answered that question about 48 hours ago, and in case you missed it, WWE is expecting Bryan to be back and ready to go in about two months.

There were reports that Daniel Bryan needed a second surgery following his initial neck surgery this past summer. Now it seems that the second surgery won’t be necessary, as rehab is going well for Bryan, and he’s beginning to regain strength in his arm.

WWE initially wanted Daniel Bryan to return in the Royal Rumble match on January 25, however, that planned changed because, even if Bryan would be ready to go for the Rumble, WWE doesn’t want to put themselves in the same situation they ended up in last year, where the fans boo whoever the winner of the Rumble is, which is expected to be Roman Reigns, because they just want to see Daniel Bryan get his title back.

So, as of right now, Daniel Bryan isn’t in need of a second surgery, and could be returning at some point before WrestleMania 31. Who will his opponent be? Well, that’s a question only WWE knows the answer to.
