2011 VGAs: New Mass Effect 3 trailer has a giant worm fighting Reapers [Video]

Commander Shephard is going to have it rough in Mass Effect 3 The Reapers, enemies of all living lifeforms that aren’t one of them, are tearing up the galaxy left and right, and it’s up to him (or her!) to stop them.

Going by the new Mass Effect 3 trailer shown off during the 2011 Spike VGAs, it looks like Shephard may be getting some help from some of the planets’ native wildlife. In this particular instance, it’s a ridiculously long worm/snake-thing.

To sum that up for you, the Mass Effect 3 VGA trailer has gigantic Reapers destroying everything and anything in their path, Commander Shephard, Garrus, Wrex, and a giant worm fighting a giant, evil robot. If that doesn’t grab your attention, I don’t know what will.

Mass Effect 3 is due out on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 6, 2012 in North America, March 9, 2012 in Europe. Check out the Mass Effect 3 VGA trailer below.
