Two of the most anticipated titles due out over the next year, Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3 , had their release dates announced at EA’s E3 2011 press conference.
BioWare revealed at the press conference that Mass Effect 3 will be launching worldwide March 26, 2012. Battlefield 3 , on the other hand, releases this year, with the target date being set at October 28. In case you didn’t notice, that’s two weeks before Modern Warfare 3 . Gee, I wonder if that’s intentional?
In related Battlefield 3 news, DICE revealed that there will be a multiplayer beta this coming September. If you still have your copy of Medal of Honor and the accompanying VIP Pass lying around, you’ll have instant access to the beta as soon as it launches.
