‘Millionaire Matchmaker’: Patti Tells Larry Birkhead To Ditch Anna Nicole Shrine
The Millionaire Matchmaker Season 8 premiere had Patti Stanger working hard to make a match for photographer Larry Birkhead, who is famous for his battle for paternal rights for his daughter Dannielynn after her mother, Anna Nicole Smith, died in 2007.

Zap2It reports that Birkhead, who lives in Kentucky with Dannielynn, had a few stumbling blocks when it came to making a love connection. Larry let Patti know that he “had no game” when it comes to dating, and that he’d love to meet someone nice and sweet “like Jennifer Love Hewitt” — but he’d never have the nerve to approach a woman like her.
Patti suggested that the bigger issue was the Anna Nicole shrine in his Kentucky home — something that would be a roadblock as far as finding a mate goes. In his home, Birkhead has pictures and memorabilia of Smith, hoping to save the memory of the late pinup girl for his daughter. The shrine, along with his hectic schedule with Dannielynn, made finding a match for him extra hard.
On Sunday night’s show, Patti pulled all the stops to find a fabulous date for the single dad. She goes off her usual course and picks the woman for him, without having Birkhead present at the mixer. Stanger picked a woman, Michelle, who is a single mother with two children. Not as shy as you’d think, Birkhead kisses Michelle at the end of the date, making it look like a successful match for two single parents.
The big question is, is Larry Birkhead still with Michelle, or is he headed back to see Patti Stanger to find a new match? On the Millionaire Matchmaker premiere, Patti revealed that Michelle enjoyed her date and Larry had already set up a second date with her because he had a “great time” with her. The show, filmed several months ago, reveals that Larry and Michelle planned to meet again and were still talking at the time the episode wrapped up production.
The Bustle reports that Larry has not been seen out with anyone when he’s been spotted on the red carpet at Hollywood events. He has been tweeting, but only about his daughter, Dannielynn and not about a new love-interest, so it’s still not known if they are keeping their relationship private or if Birkhead went back to the single life shortly after he filmed the episode.
