So how has the little otter fared over the past two weeks since the Shedd welcomed her into their open arms? She’s doing swimmingly!

According to the Huffington Post, the Shedd Aquarium has given the public some new video footage and photos to swoon over, and just in time too considering most of the internet is still recovering from Kim Kardashian and her #breaktheinternet photo spread in Paper Magazine.

As viewers can see through the new video footage, Pup 681 has grown in size since her arrival at the Shedd Aquarium, and by the looks of it, her swimming lessons have been paying off! She can be seen not only floating around in her pool, but also swimming around and chasing after her toys. Of course, what is exercise without a yummy snack! Pup 681 can be seen chewing on some solid foods, which is a step up from her bottle!

So what else is in store for the Shedd Aquarium’s resident celebrity otter pup? According to the Washington Post, Pup 681 has some more swimming and snacking in her schedule, oh and her first Google get together!

Yep! You read that right! According to reports, the Shedd Aquarium is planning on giving internet viewers full access to the otter pup on November 18 via Google Hangouts. The Washington Post stated that a special Google+ Hangout stream will introduce viewers to Pup 681 and all her trainers, “showing how the otter goes about her days.”

“Have you been cooing over photos of our new sea otter pup? Would you love to hang out with her poolside? Here’s your chance! Join us for a Google Hangout on Air on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at noon CT. Legendary anchorman Bill Kurtis will lead the chat as we go behind the scenes to Pup 681’s nursery and hear from the experts who have cared for her at Shedd Aquarium and Monterey Bay Aquarium. #puphangout,” wrote the Shedd Aquarium on the Google+ event page.
