In Kerala, members of the local Vijay Fans association decided to install a huge flex advertising board to promote the film. In the midst of the installation, Unnikrishnan, a die-hard Vijay fan fell off a ledge and was seriously injured. Even though he was admitted to a local hospital, the doctors there could not save his life. Actor Vijay was informed about the tragic death of one of his die-hard fans. Actor Vijay meets dead fans family

India is by far, the world’s biggest film maker. Over 900 feature films in several languages are made in this country each year. The famous term Bollywood refers to only the Hindi language film industry which is only a part of the large industry in India. One of the biggest regional film fraternity in India is the Tamil language film industry based out of the southern Indian city of Chennai. One of Asia’s highest paid actors – and India’s answer to Chuck Norris, Rajinikanth too belongs to the Tamil film industry.
