Kris Jenner Speaks Out On Bruce Dating Her Best Friend, Takes On The Sex Change Rumors

The latest in the ongoing Kardashian saga is that recently-single Bruce Jenner, now footloose and fancy free, has been dating Kris Jenner’s longtime best friend and former assistant, Ronda Kamihira.

Oh, and there’s also those pesky, ongoing rumors that Bruce Jenner is trying to become a woman.

Kris Jenner appeared on the Today show Monday in order to talk about her new cookbook — entitled, of course, In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites. But she also took the time to address the fact that her ex, Bruce, is reportedly dating Kamihira, as well as whether Bruce is undergoing a process that will culminate in a sex change.

As far as whether or not Bruce really is dating Kamihira, Kris replied smoothly, “I just want him to be happy, I don’t care who he goes out with. I don’t know who he’s dating. He doesn’t check in with me and give me a play-by-play.”

Well, at least there’s that much to be thankful for!

She added that she and Bruce have remained — and will remain — good friends, reiterating that there is no animosity between the two.

“We decided we’re just better apart than we are together, but we’re still really good friends,” Jenner said.

As far as all those rumors that Bruce Jenner is transitioning into a woman? Kris Jenner quickly shut that down, saying, “It’s silly! [The tabloids have] been saying that since the ’70s, so you think he’d be cooked by now… they just keep regurgitating the same old stuff.”

Of course, those rumors only start because of the admittedly odd way Bruce Jenner has been acting since he and Kris split. From getting his nails done, to wearing Spanx and a sports bra, getting his luxurious locks blown out for an Elton John concert… not to mention he fact that Jenner had his Adam’s apple shaved down through plastic surgery not that long ago. Why? Because, as Bruce himself said, “I just never liked my trachea.”

Of all body parts to have an aesthetic issue with, the trachea just doesn’t seem to top many people’s lists.

As for Kris Jenner and her new cookbook, there is no mention of Bruce anywhere. Kris explained on Today that, while writing it, she and Bruce were already splitting.

“Bruce and I were getting a divorce. I mean, he’s a great guy, but I just did [the book] for the kids and the grandkids,” Kris explained.

In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites goes on sale Tuesday.
